- How to give to our ministry
- Note from Steve and Laura
Thank you for your interest in our ministry. We invite your partnership, as God directs you. You have encouraged us in this manner from the first day until now!
Instructions
- Make out a check to TEAM or "The Evangelical Alliance Mission"
- Put "for the ministry of Steve and Laura Spinella" on the memo line or in an attached note or post it. You can also tell them how you want them to record your name and address, in case it's different from what's on the check.
- Send this to TEAM, PO Box 969, Wheaton, IL 60189-0969. This address is listed on our letters and emails.
Results
When TEAM's international office gets your check, they will…
- follow your instructions,
- place the money in our ministry account (54-8334),
- put you on the mailing list for the mission magazine (unless you request not to get it), and
- send you a receipt and a reply envelope and form, in case you later want to make another contribution.

Details
When you contribute, you can optionally designate a sub-account:
- 54-8334-1 is for our ongoing ministry support (the default),
- 54-8334-2 is for one time gifts or projects for our ministry, and
- 54-8334-5 is for personal gifts or funds. Money sent to this account is not a tax-deductible ministry contribution. It is primarily a convenience for managing missionary funds internationally.
TEAM also can arrange…
- automatic contribution transfers, which electronically deducts a regular contribution from your checking account, with the same receipts as mailed checks,
- receipt of gifts in kind, such as stock or other property,
- matching contributions from your employer, where your company allows, and
- deferred giving and estate planning possibilities, like gift annuities and charitable remainder trusts.
